Damping Foam

Polyplate Melamine Foam is a thermoset polymer which is made of melamine resin. The open-cell foam exhibits the feature of a three dimensional net structure. This structure renders foam effective in blocking noise and for thermal insulation. Using melamine resin as raw material, Fibersit's Polyplate Melamine Foam has superior fire retardant feature without the addition of a flame retardant. The melamine foam also possesses the superb features of temperature resistance and thermal stability. It can maintain its physical properties at extreme temperatures. In the electronics industry, this foam will is normally compressed to 15%-20% of its original thickness for the best sound absorbing effect. The standard foam colors are white and grey. Other colors are available on demand.

Main Advantages:

  • Flame retardant

  • Sound absorption application

  • Thermal insulation application

  • Excellent temperature resistance: -190℃-230℃

  • Can be jacketing with different materials like metal, fabrics to meet the requirement for diverse application

Silicone Foam

Polyplate Series Microcellular Silicone Foam is made from nontoxic silicone. In addition to temperature resistance and inherent high flexibility, this silicone foam has an excellent resistance to flame, good electrical insulation properties, and inert compounds to prevent fungus and mold growth. Polyplate Series is ideal for sealing, cushioning, vibration isolation and insulation, and is perfect for critical applications in transportation equipment, communication and electrical enclosures, electronic products and components.

Characteristics:

  • Superior Flame Resistance

  • Withstand Temperatures From -55~200 °C

  • Unsurpassed Compression Set Resistance For Excellent Long-term Sealing <1%

  • Pass Stringent Smoke and Toxicity Regulation
